Christine Block, PhD
I received a PhD and Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, and have been working in the mental and behavioral health field for over 7 years. I started my journey in the field as the Director of Programs and Social Services for a non-profit organization that served individuals and families affected by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and most recently with a program that focuses on opioid addiction. I am trained in eye movement and desensitization reprocessing, cognitive behavior therapy and exposure therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy for individuals with intellectual disabilities. I believe that everyone has the tools to achieve their best health and sometimes need help learning to use them.
