Introduction to our Direct Primary Care (DPC) program, a subscription-based primary care service.
This booking includes your initial clinic visit (1-hour) to establish a relationship with your primary care provider. This visit may address any health or medical issues you may have, and covers your first month of primary care services. If you choose to enroll in the DPC subscription (or membership) plan, that will be arranged for an additional monthly fee. (Age 18 & under = $35/mo., Age 19-69 = $55/mo., Age 70+ = $75/mo.)
What is DPC? It's a membership for primary care needs that provides a vast array of care for common health problems including prevention, sickness, injuries, and chronic disease management. The membership fee covers all communications (phone calls, text, emails), regular clinic visits, and many routine lab & tests. Also, members get access to deeply discounted services such as labs, meds, and procedures.
No controlled substance medications (ex: opiates, benzodiazepines, amphetamines, etc.) will be prescribed during this visit.
A native of Lawrence, Jessica is certified as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) and provides care to all ages and levels of health. She received her RN degree from University of Kansas in 2005 and Nurse Practitioner degree (MSN-FNP) from Washburn in 2011. She has worked previously in emergency rooms and urgent cares. Her experience will complement her passion for preventive medicine; allowing her to provide the full spectrum of care. Jessica is married to Jason, a firefighter, and they have 3 children and 2 dogs. In her free time Jessica enjoys coffee, running, watching Fixer Upper and cul-de-sac bonfires.
