Pap Smear & HPV Screen (Includes Pathology Charge)
25-minute appointment
Includes in-office pelvic exam and Pap smear (along with HPV screen if indicated due to your past history and/or age). Does include pathology read fees. Testing for sexually transmitted infections may be completed at an additional charge based on a patient's concerns and symptoms.
This visit does not include any follow up visits, contraceptive counseling, or care of acute concerns (i.e. vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, pain with intercourse, irregular periods, infertility, etc.). We're happy to help with any of these concerns, but please schedule a generic primary care visit to chat about them.
You must be able to provide your past Pap history at this visit (if you have had a Pap in the past) -- either by bringing in your past medical records or by describing them to the provider. If you'd like your records faxed to us by another clinic, please feel free to fax them to 913-553-4272. Results will be conveyed by our staff within 2 weeks of the exam.
