Evaluates hearing sensitivity to determine type, severity and configuration of hearing loss.
Dr. Battani serves as the practice’s Hearing Aid Program Director and specializes in hearing aid technology. Dr. Battani has also worked as an audiologist with CIGNA Healthcare of Arizona. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Central Michigan University/Vanderbilt University and performed a fellowship with the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. She received her Master’s and Bachelor of Arts degrees in audiology from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology (ADA), holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the Kansas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (KSHA). She serves as secretary of the Kansas City Society of Audiology.
