Maggie Allen is a Resolve Intern and a graduate student studying for a Masters in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University. The emphasis of her program is in marriage, couples and family counseling although Maggie looks forward to working all populations including teens and individuals. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association.
After graduating from Kansas State University, with a Human Resources degree, Maggie is beginning a second career in counseling and brings with this experience, 20 years of marriage as well as raising three children in the Kansas City area.
Maggie is a genuine, empathic and accepting person. Her experiences so far have broadened her understanding of how today’s difficulties are not necessarily a life time sentence. Counseling, goal setting and learning to navigate our world empowers us to overcome current obstacles and take on future challenges.
Maggie’s counseling interests are to work with all types of families, couples and individuals. She has a passion for adolescents working through academic and sports performance anxieties. Maggie shares Resolve’s commitment to the community and looks forward to helping meet it’s needs.
