A diagnostic treadmill test is a routine exercise stress test that is conducted to assess cardiac function during physical activity. The test includes an electrocardiogram and evaluation of cardiac vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygenation), and is performed in conjuction with a Cardiologist who will interpret the test results and generate a report.
Depending on the test results, the clinician may recommend additional diagnostic testing is required and/or follow up care. Prescription for medication may be provided if recommended.
