It’s brave to face the hard stuff. You don’t have to do it alone, though. I’m here to help. Fears, worries, and struggles need safe places to land. My heart is with couples in crisis, anxiety in overdrive, and minds in need of rest. I approach human hardship and transition with person-centered care, remembering that we are all experts in our own lives. I am a caring confidante, LGBTQ ally, and fan of authentic choices. Life may not be easy, but there are strategies to make it easier and I can help you find your way. As I finish my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, my work is carefully supervised at Resolve. But it’s also grounded in life experience. Before studying psychology, I earned a B.A. in journalism from KU, worked as a writer for Hallmark Cards, and navigated a slew of life cycle events. My long marriage and teenage son are reminders that love is worth the effort, and that the world has a soft side. Conflict looks different for everyone, but I offer empathy and human acceptance to meet you where you are. I say no to inauthenticity, and yes to Thai takeout, good books, Prince, and my blue-eyed kitty. Otherwise, I welcome shades of gray.
