I was a medical student and resident at Weill Cornell Medical Center. I did several years of research/clinical work at the NIH and then a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Pennsylvania. Thereafter I was on the full-time faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College until I later went into practice. I have always been affiliated with and admitted to Cornell Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Our practice does consultative cardiology in a wide range of subjects including chest pain, coronary artery disease, hypertension, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy, rhythm disturbances, and lipid pathology. We are very interested in cardiac risk factor modification and intervening to keep people healthy. We do ECGs on-site, Echocardiography, Carotid Ultrasound, and Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound. We refer out Stress Testing to an excellent facility with whom we have a close relationship and where we sometimes attend on-site ourselves when feasible.
