Coleman sits on multiple committees focused on addressing trauma in urban communities, and Coleman is also a certified trauma trainer. As research has unequivocally demonstrated that trauma can have a significant impact on relationships and personal behavior, Coleman utilizes a trauma-focused approach to address challenges which individuals and families encounter in their quest for a healthy balance in life. Similarly, Coleman employs numerous therapeutic modalities in his practice, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
