Lori Stinard, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine, treating patients of all ages, and who has been practicing for 8 years. Current member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She offers care in the following languages: English. She is able to treat symptoms of all chronic conditions as well as acute. Some examples of chronic conditions include but not limited to weight loss, diabetes, hypertension, psych disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar etc), heart disease, arthritis, asthma, COPD, cancer, stroke, kidney disease, and Alzheimer's disease. Acute symptoms can include sore throat, earache, rash, urinary symptoms, cough, congestion, fever/chills, minor cuts/abrasions, nausea and vomiting. From a young age, I was drawn to helping others and fascinated by how the human body works. I chose to go into the medical field because I wanted a career where I could make a real difference in people's lives every day. Nursing, and eventually becoming a Nurse Practitioner, gave me the opportunity to combine science, compassion, and problem-solving in a way that feels deeply meaningful. What fuels my passion for healthcare is the ability to build lasting relationships with patients - being there not just during illness but throughout their entire health journey. I'm passionate about patient education, prevention, and advocating for care that's both personalized and respectful. There's no greater reward than helping someone feel heart, supported, and healthier. I am very easy to talk to and make sure my patients are always comfortable with the care they receive.
