Fierce Healthcare Names Sesame a 2023 “Fierce 15” Company

Kicking off 2023 with the exciting news that Sesame has been named a Fierce 15 company by Fierce Healthcare this year, designating it as one of the most promising healthcare companies in the industry! We are honored to be recognized for our incredible services and innovative approach to problem-solving in such a competitive field.

Sesame outranked hundreds of other companies that were evaluated based on technology, partnerships, venture backers and creative mindset toward finding solutions for some of the most complicated and long-standing issues in the health industry.

At Sesame, we were inspired to reimagine healthcare by three realities:

1. There are more than 27 million Americans who have no health insurance — and hundreds of millions more with unmanageable deductibles
2. At least 50% of the cost of care doesn’t end up with doctors but is instead absorbed by “the system”
3. Half of all Americans have medical debt, and more than half of all personal bankruptcies are caused by it
