    Rare, more serious adverse events have been known to occur, including hypotension, creatinine increase, hyperkalemia, syncope, persistent nausea and vomiting, yellowing of the eyes and skin, and dark urine. If you are concerned that lisinopril is causing you to experience side effects, contact your doctor. Lisinopril can cause life-threatening swelling of the lips, tongue and throat (angioedema).
