Avanafil side effects
Common side effects of avanafil (generic Stendra) include headache, flushing (warmth or redness of the skin), nasal congestion, common cold–like symptoms, back pain, and muscle aches. Some people may also experience a mild sore throat or sinus pressure. These side effects are typically mild and temporary.
In rare cases, avanafil can cause more serious side effects. These may include a prolonged and painful erection lasting longer than 4 hours (priapism), sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, sudden hearing loss or ringing in the ears, chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath, low blood pressure, or irregular heartbeat. These symptoms require immediate medical attention.
Contact your doctor for medical advice if you are concerned that avanafil is causing side effects or if symptoms persist or worsen. Talk to your doctor before starting treatment, as avanafil may interact with certain medicines and may not be safe for people with certain heart conditions.
