Amanda Batterbee is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who specializes in treatment-resistant depression, OCD, anxiety, PTSD, and pediatric mental health. Amanda has been practicing for 15 years and has 25 years of clinical experience. She treats patients ages 3 and up and provides LGBTQIA+ inclusive care as well as trans-informed care. She also has extensive experience in treating veterans and military dependents.
Amanda provides a unique approach to care - combining empathy, personalized medicine, cutting edge evidence-based research, and the occasional ""dad joke"" - and tailors her treatment plans to her patient's individual needs. There is no one-size-fits-all treatment plan. Her patients enjoy her warm approach and willingness to provide education on all of their treatment options.
Amanda is able to treat symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, PTSD, as well as provide diagnostic clarity and second opinions. She has taught psychopharmacology and clinical courses at the graduate level and has owned and operated a mental health clinic in Colorado Springs for the past 15 years. She completed her graduate education at Rush University in Chicago, IL and her undergraduate work in biomedical sciences and psychology at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT.
