Coverage for procedures like IUI and IVF varies by plan, and the IVI RMA team will review your specific benefits with you to help you understand what your care covers.

If specialized care is appropriate, your Sesame clinician will coordinate a direct referral to IVI RMA for procedures like IUI, IVF, advanced diagnostics, or egg freezing.

When your Sesame provider refers you to IVI RMA, they’ll send a concise referral packet that includes:

• Your basic details (name, date of birth)
• Relevant medical history and current medications
• Your fertility history, cycles, and goals (for example, trying to conceive vs. egg freezing)
• A summary of your Sesame visits and any fertility medications prescribed
• Key lab results and why you’re being referred

This helps your IVI RMA team hit the ground running, so your first specialist visit can focus on next steps rather than repeating every detail.

Patients begin their fertility journey with Sesame's virtual care team, which is available in all 50 states. Through virtual visits, you can complete consultations, receive evaluations, review personalized treatment plans, and manage much of your care remotely.

If more specialized services are needed—such as advanced monitoring, procedures, or IVF treatment—you may be referred to an IVI RMA location for in-person care. Many patients start virtually and then travel to a physical location when hands-on treatment or lab services are required.
