Ana I Garcia, APRN

Ana Iris Garcia, NP-BC cares for adults and older adults. Her focus includes adult-gerontology mental health, and she supports people managing anxiety, depression, and insomnia alongside medical concerns such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and weight loss goals. Patients describe her as caring and knowledgeable; she teaches practical health habits and attends to both physical and emotional needs. She provides care in English and Spanish.

A Nurse Practitioner, she earned her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Louisville, followed by an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Cincinnati and a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatry–Mental Health. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and she has experience mentoring fellow nurse practitioners.

Education is an important part of her approach, including teaching about health and good health habits.

She was drawn to healthcare by a love of helping people and a passion for delivering exceptional care, and she finds it most rewarding to help people physically and emotionally.
