Dr Calvin Young, PhD, LCPC, provides counseling shaped by 29 years of experience. He works with addiction and trauma, as well as racial and men’s psychology, and supports men’s issues, Veterans, and Responders. Patients describe his approach as humorous, irreverent, and collaborative.
He is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a PhD in Psychology, an MSc in Counseling and Psychometrics, and an MA in Human & Organizational Systems. He has held multiple teaching and lecturing positions and is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Counseling Association, and the Canadian Counseling and Psychotherapy Association.
He was drawn to this field by a long-standing interest in healing. Over time, he most appreciates witnessing the transformative forces of a re-adjusted brain at work.
