Chad Parsons, APRN, FNP-C is a Minnesota board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing comprehensive and patient-centered care. Chad obtained his Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regius University. He also holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), along with an additional nursing degree and a baccalaureate Degree in Philosophy and Classical Languages from the University of Saint Thomas.
Chad has over 16 + years of combined experience working in Cardiac and Neurological Intensive Care, Cardiology, ER, Home Health, and 8 of those years have been in primary care. Chad has honed his skills as a Healthcare provider. He is dedicated to giving his undivided attention to help patients meet their health goals.
General Interest:
He had a professional interest in caring for entire families, pediatrics, asthma, sports medicine, diabetes, hypertension, dermatology, men’s health, women’s health, obesity/weight loss, functional medicine, and more.
Chad offers a variety of virtual medical services. For virtual consultations, he provides video allergy, STD management, prescription refill, chronic disease, mental health, and COVID-19 visits, as well as consultations for UTIs, Erectile disfunction, premature ejaculation, vaginal infections, yeast infections, and wound care. He does not provider consultation for birth control.
Chad is passionate about:
Building relationships with others, enjoying and exploring nature, studying ancient literature, martial arts, and serving others. All of these have one thing in common: a deep interest and passion for humanity.
Chad became a provider because:
He has always wanted to help people whether it be with social or with physical needs. Through life, he has worked in youth outreach, in group homes and as a critical care registered nurse. He decides early on in his nursing career that he wanted to become a nurse practitioner to provide the kind of care that he gave as a nurse while providing care as a healthcare provider.
One of the challenges of this career that Chad enjoys is:
Having the great privilege to care for people of all ages from infants to older adults as a family medicine provider. He enjoys everything from teaching about health to the complexity of managing multiple health issues.
