Chibuzo Nwigbo is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience. She began her career as a pharmacy technician and advanced through a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University.
Nwigbo has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings across the country, including urban and rural areas with limited access to care. Her passion for providing high-quality, compassionate, and accessible healthcare fuels her commitment to telemedicine and personalized, affordable care.
She is adept at treating a range of acute conditions, including urinary tract infections, rashes, conjunctivitis, sore throat, sinusitis, COVID-19, influenza, the common cold, allergies, cold sores, and yeast infections. Dr. Nwigbo also has extensive experience in metabolic health and obesity medicine, guiding patients through their medical weight loss journeys to achieve and maintain their weight goals. Additionally, she assists patients with their prescription refills for chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and hypothyroidism.
