Courtney Tepedino, WHNP, is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Science in biology, and worked in the operating room prior to obtaining her nursing degree. She pursued her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at Stony Brook University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, joined Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, and obtained an award for academic excellence. She also received her Master of Science degree in Perinatal/Women’s Health, from Stony Brook University.
Courtney received an award for compassionate patient care while working on the Mother – Baby unit at one of New York City’s busiest hospitals, where she helped women recover after birth, and assisted and educated them on newborn care.
She realized her love for women's health the first day of her nursing rotation on the postpartum hospital floor. She loved being a part of this beautiful aspect of a woman's life. Since then, Courtney realized how important it is for patients to have a warm and caring provider to help them navigate through some of their most private concerns. She often thinks back to her first experience with a gynecologist, where she did not feel seen or heard. Her goal is to never have anyone to feel this way in their experience with her, so she strives to create a relationship with every patient. She wants each woman to feel as though they can address every concern and simply be talking things over with a trusted friend.
