Counseling & therapy
I am a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I graduated from Liberty University Bachelor of Science Psychology Counseling Program in 2011 and the Liberty University Master in Psychology Counseling Program in 2014.
I've served as a Bereavement Coordinator in a hospice for 2 years in Pittsburgh, PA. It was an honor to work there because the dying taught me how to live. Since moving to Florida I have worked at a Community Health Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Center and am currently in Community Mental Health for co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. My specialties include trauma counseling, grief and loss, LGBTQIA as well as anxiety and depression, and more.
My goal is to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult issues by allowing space for your feelings, designing a treatment plan based on your strengths, proven techniques and your unique individual needs. I am trained in different modalities of treatment including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Strength-based therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, as well as Integrative Therapies.
