I am Dr. Isaiah Bercot, a licensed psychiatrist in the greater Denver area and serving all of Colorado via telehealth and in-person appointments. My areas of specialty include anxiety, panic disorder, insomnia, sensory processing disorder, and depression including altitude-induced and seasonal depression. I work with both teenagers and adults. I take an individualized and patient-centered approach to medical care. I know that no two patients are alike and that there is no magical pill that will treat everyone.
My goal is to listen to each person and understand their unique symptoms so that I can devise a collaborative, individualized treatment plan and medication that will work best for each patient.
When I became a doctor, I asked myself, “What do I like about my doctor and what type of doctor do I dislike going to?” I realized that what I disliked most was not feeling listened to, being interrupted, and not feeling like I had a choice in my treatment. That is why I give all my patients the respect they deserve. I am not the expert on you. I went to many years of school and have a good deal of medical knowledge but only you are the expert on yourself and I am here to learn from you and to develop a treatment plan together.
The cost per appointment is a flat rate of 200$ for new patients and 185$ for follow-ups. I do not accept insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare.
