Dr. Sherman is an Arizona native who grew up in Mesa. She attended medical school and then completed her family medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. Dr. Sherman enjoys working with patients to manage chronic conditions like diabetes, seeing kids for well child checks, and talking with patients about preventative care and lifestyle changes for wellness. She was drawn to family medicine because it allows her to spend time getting to know her patients and to develop meaningful doctor-patient relationships. In her free time, she likes working on home renovation projects with her husband, trying out new recipes for baked goods, and reading science fiction novels.
