Jennifer A Cook DNP, CNM, FNPc is dual board certified as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner. Jennifer has been practicing as a CNM providing obstetric care, OB triage, and gynecology/women's health for 19 years. Jennifer added the family nurse practitioner credential to be able to care for the entire family. She also is experienced in aesthetic medicine and regenerative aesthetics. Jennifer is a Fellow of the American College of Nurse Midwives. She offers care in English.
She can treat primary care issues: UTIs, upper respiratory infections, blood pressure, pregnancy concerns, and women's health/gynecology concerns such as vaginal infections, STDs, cycle control, and birth control. She is also trained in medical weight loss, GLP 1 medication & perimenopause treatment.
Jennifer was a labor nurse before becoming a provider. She went into midwifery to be able to provide OB care and follow the patient through pregnancy and birth but also to follow her patients' gynecology care throughout their lifespan. Jennifer went back to train as a family nurse practitioner to be able to treat the whole family and to be able to work in rural areas where patients have difficulty finding care.
Jennifer grew up in Idaho in a rural farming community. She also has practiced in Utah and Hawaii as a provider and has family ties to the Islands. She enjoys the ocean and the mountains and family time.
