I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner qualified to practice psychiatry, diagnose, treat, and prescribe up-to-date psychiatric medications for children, adolescents, and adults.
I began my career over 20 years ago, helping and assisting clients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. I see my profession as a ministry, helping those who mentally, physically, and emotionally struggle and cannot help themselves. After spending time helping people with their medical and emotional problems, I realized this was my ministry and calling. I then obtained my nursing degree in 2005, continuing my education until obtaining my Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
I provide a client-centered approach that allows clients greater responsibility over treatment decisions and recovery planning. My practice specialties include but are not limited to Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD, Panic Attacks, and Insomnia. My goal for my clients is always to achieve hope and a positive outcome.
