Ndematelen Asong, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has been in healthcare since 2002. Beginning her journey as a nurse aide, she continued her education and obtained an Associate Degree in Nursing from Central Ohio Technical College, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at Ohio University.
Recognizing the growing need for behavioral health providers, Ndematelen further advanced her education at Marysville University, obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on psychiatry. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Ndematelen offers video psychiatry consults for both existing and new patients on Sesame. Her specializations encompass medication management, anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD and more. Accepting new patients aged 18 years and above, her care provides comprehensive support for a wide range of behavioral health conditions.
