Ofonime Ntia, APRN, FNP-C was born in Nigeria and moved to the United States when he was 20 years old. Ofonime attended Oklahoma State University, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he received an Associate Degree in Nursing, and then moved on to receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, at The University of Central Oklahoma. While working in the Liver Transplant and intermediate care unit at Integris Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he completed his Master of Science in Nursing with a subspecialty in Family/Primary Care at Maryville University, St Louis, Missouri. Ofonime is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who is dual licensed in both Oklahoma and Texas. Ofonime has over 12 years nursing experience and his experiences as a bedside nurse working in long-term care, skilled nursing, and on the Liver transplant floor, have all shaped his practice to work with families and teach them about maximizing their health and well-being both physically and cognitively.
