Hello, I am Olalekan Kenny Adefowokan, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC. I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in primary care, chronic illnesses, acute conditions, urgent care, and mental health disorders. I have been in healthcare for over 20 years and practicing as a clinician for 12+ years. I am a member of ANCC, AANP, and AACN. I speak English and Yoruba fluently. I can get by with some Spanish. I am able to treat conditions such as respiratory infections, common colds, fever, urinary tract infections, STDs, STIs, men's health, women's health conditions, birth control, weight management, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, smoking cessation and counselling, anxiety disorder, depression, ADHD management, and DOT physicals. I chose the medical profession because caring for others comes naturally to me. I’m passionate about providing whole-person care—treating both physical and mental health with compassion and respect. I value listening to my patients, meeting them where they are, and creating a safe, judgment-free space where they feel heard and supported.
