Scott Stout, FNP

Scott is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Born and raised in West Texas, Scott graduated from Permian High School. He received his Associate's Degree in Nursing from Odessa College. Then continuing his education by completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science in 2012, followed by a Masters of Nursing Education degree in 2015, and then a Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner Certification, all degrees were achieved through Texas Tech University Health Science Center.

Throughout his entire nursing career, Scott’s main focus has been in the Emergency Department. He began his career in a Level II Trauma Center, Scott first worked as a staff nurse, then quickly progressed into the role of charge nurse gaining national certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse and Trauma Certified Register Nurse. He then continued his career working in a critical access hospital, teaching in the nursing department at the local college, and working as a nursing administrator. Scott is also a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Emergency Nurses Association, and the American Association of Diabetes Educators.

In his off time, Scott enjoys spending time with his loved ones, exercising, traveling, and focusing on continuing his education with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice to further help care for his community and patients. Servicios disponibles en Español.
