Uwa K Amoji is a family nurse practitioner in Georgia. She began her career in health care 1993 after she obtained her Associate degree in Nursing from University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital in Nigeria. She then came to the United States where she obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Chamberlain University, with an emphasis in Family Nurse practitioner. She holds a national board certification as a Nurse practitioner with The American Academy of Nurse Practitioner. Her previous experience includes Urgent Care, Public health, Advance Comprehensive Care, Med-surg, Acute Care, Long Term Care, Internal medicine, and Hospice Care. She served as a charge nurse and understood patient advocacy as a registered Nurse. As a Nurse Practitioner, she is qualified to diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions across the entire lifespan. She believes in evidence based care and she is passionate in providing excellent preventive care. She believes in empowering individuals through education, closing the gaps in healthcare and building equity and healthy communities.
