What is the difference between an ultrasound and pelvic ultrasound?

There isn't much of a difference. Pelvic ultrasounds use the same technology that ultrasounds do, they just focus on the organs and tissues in the pelvis and lower abdomen. When do you get the test results from a pelvic ultrasound?
