Amelia Knight started her journey in healthcare over 20 plus years ago as a licensed practical nurse graduating with high honors from TECO/Path of Osceola, earned her Associates in Nursing from Polk Community College, Bachelors from Polk State College, Masters with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from South University and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. And lastly, graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctoral Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Leadership from South University. She has worked in various areas of health care from serving our very fragile elderly population to our younger future generations, the underserved in community health, infectious disease, restorative, hospice, home-health, ICU and acute care at a few local hospitals, and long-term care at a few local skilled nursing facilities. She is a member of AANP, FLANP, and works hard to be a part of the community as a whole.
