Tara Gallaway, DNP, FNP-C is a certified family nurse practitioner who has practiced in numerous settings over her career including emergency medicine, primary care, psychiatry, and urgent care. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from East Carolina University located in Greenville, North Carolina, and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Liberty University located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Tara was a registered nurse for over 10 years practicing in the emergency room most of those years.
With over 6 years working as a nurse practitioner, she specializes in primary care, urgent care, mental health, medical-assisted weight loss, and hormone replacement with the ability to offer telehealth services treating common respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, common skin conditions, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, depression, anxiety, and help with weight loss or hormone replacement.
She takes pride in her empathetic and holistic practice style, thoroughly listening to her patients to help develop an appropriate and patient-centered treatment plan.
