Vera Okoye is a dual board certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental health and Family who specializes in pediatrics primary care, and in the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar, ADHD, OCD, and Schizophrenia, who has been working with kids for 17 years, and treating mental health for over one year. She is a member of Maryland Nurse Practitioner Association, Neuroscience Education Institute, and Association of Nigerian Nurse Practitioners in North America. She offers care in English and Igbo languages. She developed interest in healthcare as young kid in admiration of an aunt who was a nurse and was well admired and respected in the community. She has since been very passionate about treating patients and sharing their joy when they respond to treatment and are happy.
