How does Sesame work with my insurance?

Sesame does not work with insurance - instead, it’s just you and your doctor. No paperwork to process, no claims to submit, no marking up the price of care, and no sending you bills that say: “This is not a bill.”

However, Sesame clinicians can assist with insurance prior authorization for medication coverage specifically for patients who book a weight management service through Sesame’s online weight loss management program.

Can I use my HSA, FSA, or other health account to purchase care on Sesame?

Yes, you can pay for services on Sesame using HSA, FSA, HRA or other health account funds. Many HSAs, FSAs, and HRAs include a card for healthcare purchases that functions like a credit card and draws funds from your health account. Simply enter your card details at checkout.
