Abimbola Adetola, DNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in family medicine and psychiatric/mental health. She holds a doctorate degree in nursing and completed a Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. Her professional career spans over a decade having worked in diverse areas, including school, surgical, and community settings. She provides services for chronic and acute health concerns, such as upper respiratory infections (common cold, cough, sore throat, flu, sinusitis), urinary tract infections, and STD management consults. She offers medication management and mental health services for non-severe psychiatric illnesses, such as mild to moderate depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, performance anxiety, problems with concentration, etc. She is an empathetic and compassionate practitioner who provides patients with a safe and open environment that promotes their active participation in their care. Having been a patient who struggled with back pain for years, she understands patients’ lived experiences of pain from both medical and mental health conditions. Through active listening, she can deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed care, premised on an evidence-based approach, to achieve the best treatment outcomes. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults and offers services in the following languages: English and Yoruba.
The Mental Health Rx package is designed for the treatment of non-severe psychiatric illnesses, such as mild to moderate depression, anxiety, PTSD, performance anxiety, insomnia, etc. It is not designed for severe psychiatric concerns such as schizophrenia, uncontrolled bipolar disorder, and psychosis, among others. If you feel the patient’s disease severity exceeds the program scope, please contact customer support to coordinate a patient refund.
