Dr. Georgia Hobson-Brown, DNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in chronic disease management i.e., CHF, HTN, CAD, Type 2 Diabetes, various Neurological and Respiratory conditions. Acute conditions such as GI symptoms, COVID symptoms and other Respitory Viruses can be managed under her care. Dr. Brown has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 20 years. The ANA and Sigma Delta Tau are her professional organizations.
Dr. Brown provides care to multi ethnicities. English is her basic language. However, care can be provided for those who speak other languages with the assistance of a friend or family member to server as an interpreter. Preventative care is key to remaining healthy. Therefore, health maintenance, routine check ups, and addressing symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, chest discomforts, unexplained weight loss or weight gain, excessive thirst with a constant urge to urinate, abdominal discomforts, shortness of breath, palpitations, leg and or back pain, indicate an appointment is needed. Acute symptoms of Respiratory Discomforts, Fevers, shortness of breath, possibly Pneumonia, COVID , or the Flu fall within her scope of practice. Caring for patients and improving their outcomes via evidence based practice is Dr. Brown's passion. Active listening to patients' concerns, culturally sensitive care and respect for all patients are the core characteristics of her practice.
