Kathryn (Kaytee) Ruliffson, PA-C cares for patients across all ages with a blend of lifestyle medicine, urgent care, primary care, and access to care. Patients often notice how she starts by listening closely, gathering a full picture before moving forward. Her approach is conservative and practical—combining functional and lifestyle strategies with Western medicine when it’s the right fit—and she makes space to talk through what matters to each person.
A Physician Assistant with 19 years of experience, Kaytee earned her MMS and BS from Nova Southeastern University and a BS in exercise physiology from JMU. She is NCCPA board certified and a member of the Pi Alpha PA honor society. Her background includes multiple leadership, training, management, and development roles.
Patients describe a visit with Kaytee as collaborative. She explains what she’s seeing, educates on the condition, and discusses options—including risks, benefits, future steps, and cost considerations—so decisions are shared. When specialty care is needed, she works to do everything she can up to that point and then guides the next step. Ethics are central to how she practices.
Her path into healthcare grew from a lifelong interest in health and fitness and a fascination with how the body works, shaped by a family connection to the field and strong people skills. She enjoys the variety in her days—the dynamics, the puzzles, and the personal connections that come with them.
