Taylor Kemp, NP provides care in primary care and urgent care. She has particular interest in PCOS, vaginal health, and postpartum health, and focuses on the needs of Black women and children. Patients often say they feel heard and valued; she listens and shapes plans that reflect what matters to them.
A Nurse Practitioner and certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), Taylor earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She serves as adjunct faculty for the University of Maryland School of Nursing and is a member of DNPs of Color. She has two years of experience in her field.
Patients say they feel heard and valued in Taylor’s care. Her approach is shared, with patients’ desires as a top priority when forming care plans.
Her path into healthcare started with being “a science nerd” who likes to help people. She enjoys learning about new conditions and testing, sometimes going down a rabbit hole to understand niche details. The Black maternal health crisis, PCOS, and period poverty are important issues in which she hopes to make a difference.
