What is LODOCO® (low-dose colchicine tablets)?
LODOCO® is the first and only FDA-approved anti-inflammatory for cardiovascular disease. It's a once-daily oral tablet that can help reduce the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular events in adults with certain heart conditions. It is intended to be used alongside standard heart medications, not as a replacement.
LODOCO® works by reducing inflammation in the arteries, which can cause plaque buildup and contribute to heart disease, heart attacks or strokes if left untreated. It was proven to be effective in large-scale clinical trials involving over 10,000 patients.
