What are the common side effects of Qelbree (viloxazine)? In children and teens (6–17 years old), the most common side effects of Qelbree were sleepiness, tiredness, decreased appetite, nausea or vomiting, trouble sleeping (insomnia), and irritability.
In adults, the most common side effects of Qelbree were: Insomnia (trouble sleeping), headache, fatigue (tiredness), nausea, dry mouth, constipation, and a decreased appetite.
In rare cases, Qelbree can cause or increase suicidal thoughts, especially during the first few months of treatment or when the dose is changed. Regular check-ins with a doctor are important while taking this medication.
