My passion lies in the meaningful difference I can make in people’s lives through compassionate, holistic care. Nursing uniquely blends science with human connection, and it is this balance that continues to inspire my dedication to the profession. This passion drives my daily practice and fuels my ongoing commitment to excellence, growth, and innovation in the field of nursing.
Seeking to make an even greater impact in a provider role, I advanced my studies to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). In this capacity, I have provided comprehensive healthcare services to individuals across the lifespan—from infants to older adults. My work has encompassed diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, conducting routine check-ups, prescribing medications, and educating patients on preventive health and wellness.
As I deepened my understanding of whole-person care, I became increasingly aware of the interconnection between physical and mental health—and how the mind-body relationship is often overlooked. The persistent stigma surrounding mental illness further inspired me to pursue certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
By combining expertise in both family practice and psychiatry, I am able to provide a more comprehensive and nuanced approach to care—one that strengthens the patient-provider relationship and promotes personalized, effective treatment plans.
At VICC Psychiatry, we believe in addressing the whole person, not just their ailment. My goal is to offer undivided attention, empathy, and genuine support, helping each patient work toward their optimal state of well-being. In my practice, you’ll experience shorter wait times, a comfortable, private setting, and care that truly listens.
“You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent. You can live well with a mental health condition, as long as you open up to somebody about it… because it’s really important you share your experience with people so that you can get the help that you need.”
