Sesame offers full refunds for appointments canceled within the following timeframes:
- Virtual appointments: at least 3 hours before the scheduled time
- In-person appointments: at least 24 hours before the scheduled time
- All other appointments (e.g., labs, imaging, or those without a set date/time): within 10 days of purchase, once the provider confirms the appointment did not take place
- Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time up to forty-eight (48) hours before the applicable renewal processing date.
To cancel via web:
- Navigate to sesamecare.com
- Click on Account (top right)
- Click on Visits or Programs
- Select the program you’re enrolled in or visit time and date
- Scroll down and click Cancel Appointment or Cancel Program
To cancel your subscription via the mobile app:
- Open the app and go to the Home tab
- Select View Program Details under Treatment Progress
- Navigate to the Program Information tab
- Scroll to Subscription Details
- Tap Manage Subscription
- Log in if prompted and select Cancel Program
To cancel a visit via the mobile app:
- Click the Visits tab
- Select your visit
- Scroll to Visit Details
- Tap Cancel This Visit

If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to benefits through the end of your current billing period. Subscriptions will not renew after cancellation, and prorated refunds are not provided.
Refund Exceptions
We are unable to offer refunds for:
- Patient no-shows
- Requests within 24 hours of in-person appointments or 3 hours of virtual appointments
- Requests for specific medications or paperwork that are not accepted
- Surgical procedures with confirmed scheduling
- Labs not completed within 7 days of purchase
